Mentorify (“Mentorify”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a mentorship platform that pairs learners in skilling, enterprise, education and community programs with AI-matched mentors, runs scheduled sessions and shared goals, and connects job-ready learners to a built-in job board (the “Platform”).

We are committed to protecting the personal data of learners, mentors, program administrators and everyone else who uses the Platform, and to being transparent about how we collect, use, store and share it.

3. Scope

This Policy applies to personal data collected through:

• The Mentorify marketing website
• The Mentorify mobile application
• Program onboarding and data-sharing arrangements with skilling missions, employers, institutions and non-profits
• Demo requests, pilot enquiries and correspondence with our team
• Mentor and mentee interactions facilitated through the Platform

This Policy does not cover third-party websites or services linked from the Platform, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Data we collect

4.1 Learner & mentee information

Name, contact details, account credentials, stated career goal, skills and course history, assessment scores, and session and goal-tracking activity inside the app.

4.2 Mentor information

Professional background, areas of expertise, availability, and session history, used to power AI matching and to run scheduled sessions.

4.3 Program & partner data

Where a skilling mission, employer, institution or non-profit shares learner data with us under a governed data-sharing agreement, we process that data on their behalf to run analysis, matching, mentorship and placement reporting.

4.4 Technical & usage data

Device information, IP address, app usage, and session logs, used to operate, secure and improve the Platform.

4.5 Enquiry data

When you request a demo, start a pilot conversation, or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address and message.

5. Purposes of processing

• Operating the mentorship platform: matching, sessions, goals, chat and the job board
• Scoring skill gaps and job-readiness to power AI mentor and role matching
• Reporting completion and placement outcomes back to programs and partners
• Responding to demo requests, pilot enquiries and support questions
• Securing, maintaining and improving the Platform
• Complying with legal and contractual obligations to our program partners

6. Consent & legal grounds

Where we rely on consent to process personal data, we seek clear and informed consent, and you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Where a program, employer or institution shares learner data with us under a governed arrangement, that data flows under the consent and access terms agreed between the learner and that partner.

7. Data sharing

7.1 Service providers

We share data with trusted providers who help us run the Platform — such as cloud hosting, video-session infrastructure, and communications tools — under contractual confidentiality obligations.

7.2 Mentors

Where a mentee is matched with a mentor, relevant profile and goal information is shared with that mentor so they can provide effective mentorship.

7.3 Program partners

Skilling missions, employers, institutions and non-profits that share learner data with us receive completion and placement reporting back, consistent with the data-sharing agreement in place with each partner.

7.4 Legal obligations

We may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Mentorify, our users, or others.

8. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, meet our obligations to program partners, comply with legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Where data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including access controls and encryption where appropriate — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance (see Section 11). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15.

11. Grievance mechanism

If you have a complaint or concern about how we handle personal data, please contact us at contact@mentorify.in. We will acknowledge and work to resolve grievances within a reasonable timeframe.

12. Children & minors

Some learners on skilling and education programs that use Mentorify may be minors. Where a program's participants include minors, appropriate consent arrangements are agreed with that program partner, consistent with applicable law. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has provided personal data without appropriate consent can contact us at contact@mentorify.in.

13. Third-party links

The Platform may link to third-party websites, including app stores and partner sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and encourage you to review their own policies.

14. Policy changes

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be highlighted here with an updated effective date.
